Butterflies Civil Funeral Celebrant

A Butterfly has such a fleeting lifespan yet they are beautiful and capture our thoughts and imagination. On my Wedding day 34yrs ago, a Red Admiral Butterfly entered the church and alighted upon my veil. it stayed for a minute or two them left on it's journey. The memory of that encounter has stayed with me all of these years. People enter our lives often breifly and often it is a conversation we had with that individual that is remembered rather than much about that particular person. Others we build relationships with each with it's own journey, some breif some enduring our lifetime. The Funeral Service is traditionally a way not only to allow us to say 'Farewell' to our loved one, our freind often our Furry Freinds too. When I compose a Funeral Ceremony, Service or Celebration of life with you I will do so reflecting what made that person who they were and what made them special to you and hopefully like my Butterfly, our encounter with each other might be breif yet allowing a lasting memory to be formed and held in a Happier place. My service can reflect the faith of the person in a traditional manner including a hymn that was special to you, and a prayer. I can also follow a less traditional path maybe using a prayer but listening to Music favoured and chosen by you or reflecting your passions in life. For those that hold to No Belief system I will happliy compose the service that reflects you and your life, loves and passions. Butterflies are truly beautiful creations of nature and my service to you aspires to be as a Butterfly, a brief but lasting, beautiful encounter along the Journey of Life.
