Welcome to St Mary's Buckden. This week 27th February to 5th March at St Marys Buckden, the church is open to visitors every day. Services this week are as follows - Monday to Thursday 9am Morning Prayer and 5pm Evening Prayer. Monday 27th 11.30am Funeral of Elvira Penny Wednesday 10.00am Midweek Holy Communion Friday 3rd March Churches Together World Day of Prayer in St Hugh’s Church Sunday 5th March 8.00am & 11.00am Holy Communion Other events this week. Every Wednesday 11am coffee after the service Wednesday 12noon Lectio Divina bible study ( Lent activity) Where is God in all of this? Wednesdays 8pm in the Lion Hotel. Discussion group for those new to faith or struggling with faith. We are a friendly village church with an active congregation. We run a variety of services and events throughout the year. Something for everyone, we hope. The church is open every day and visitors are always welcome. Our main Holy Communion services are on Sunday at 11am and Wednesday at 10.00am. Sunday Club for the youngsters runs during the 11am Sunday service. Morning and Evening Prayers are said at 9am and 5pm Monday to Thursday. Our Living Stones Room is available for hire. It is also open for Morning Coffee and Cakes every first Saturday and on the afternoon of the second Wednesday each month we host a Community Cafe. Our group activities include Junior Church and youth@thetowers for the children/youth; Men's Breakfast; Angel Voices for the singers; bell-ringers; Getting Active for those who like to walk / cycle, Cleaning Crew.
