St Michael's Church - worshipping heart of the village - A Church Near You

We are holding a service most Sundays now (see details of when below). It is a requirement to wear a face covering within the building if the church is busy. The Church is open daily from 10am-3pm. You are welcome to visit the church for private prayer or quiet contemplation. If you visit the church for worship or for private prayer we recommend sanitising your hands on entry and exit. The latest what to expect document is available in the newsletter section of this webpage. This information is displayed just inside or outside the church door too. Worship Services for the Sundays following are as follows:- On Sunday 19th February there will be a Communion Service at 9:00am On Wednesday 22nd February there will be an Ash Wednesday Communion Service at 7:00pm (to include imposition of ashes) at ST PETER & ST PAUL'S CHURCH IN WINCANTON On Sunday 26th February there will be an Evensong Service at 4:00pm On Sunday 5th March there will be a Communion Service at 9:00am On Sunday 12th March there will be a Communion Service at 9:00am with Revd Ken Masters On Sunday 19th March there will be a Communion Service at 9:00am for Mothering Sunday On Sunday 26th March there will be an Evensong Service at 6:30pm with Penny Ashton On Sunday 2nd April there will be a Communion Service at 9:00am to include a donkey procession for Palm Sunday On Thursday 6th April there will be a Simple Maundy Thursday Communion and Agape Meal at 7pm in St Peter & St Paul's Church in Wincanton On Friday 7th April there will be a Service of Good Friday Reflections at 2pm with Penny Ashton On Sunday 9th April there will be a Communion Service at 9:00am for Easter On Sunday 16th April there will be a Communion Service at 9:00am with Revd Ken Masters On Sunday 23rd April there will be an Evensong Service at 6:30pm with Penny Ashton On Sunday 30th April there will be a JOINT Communion Service at 10:00am in St Peter & St Paul's Church in Wincanton We are complying with the Church and Government guidance and with a risk assessment in place (available in the porch noticeboard) – if you visit please adhere to this guidance for your own safety and the safety of others.
