The Avon Water known locally as the River Avon is a tributary of the River Clyde. The River Avon is 24 miles long starting just south of Drumclog and running north through Strathaven, Stonehouse and Larkhall before joining the River Clyde in Hamilton. The river offers fishing for both Migratory (Salmon & Sea Trout) and Non-Migratory fish (Trout & Grayling).
