Trauma Psychotherapy Scotland is a group of trauma specialists working in central Glasgow. We work with people of all ages, and couples, and aim to clear clinical symptoms arising from traumatic experiences that have occurred earlier in life. Trauma does not mean the same to everyone as one person may cope well with an adversity that severely affects another and has a long-term impact on their life. The clinical presentation may be with anxiety or depression, sleep disturbance or eating disturbance, rather than with intrusive imagery, nightmares, increased vigilance and avoidance of emotional triggers. Relationship difficulties may also arise from unresolved conflicts and these may continue to repeat without resolution unless the origins of them are cleared. The therapists, introduced below, are trained in different psychotherapy modalities.
