Energy Assessments Arcadian Architectural services are On Construction Domestic Energy Assessors (OCDEA) and have both NHER & Elmhurst Energy accreditation. We have over 20 years’ experience in carrying out energy rating calculations. New Dwellings: As OCDEA’s we can provide you with Design Stage SAP calculations, Predicted Energy Assessments (PEA’s) and As-Built calculations for submission to Building Control. On completion of your dwelling an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) all as required by the SAP 2012 regulations. Conversions: If you are carrying out a change of use to an existing building, or making alterations to increase the number of separate dwellings within a building, then you will require an energy rating for the change of use. As Accredited SAP Assessors, we can provide you with all the necessary calculations and EPC’s to support your Building Regulation submission. Extensions: SAP calculations will be required if you propose to build an extension which has an area of glazing exceeding 25% of the floor area of the extension, or if you propose to construct a conservatory which is not thermally separated from the existing house. We can provide you with the necessary calculations and report to support your Building Regulation submission. Renewable Energy Statement: Local Authorities planning departments have introduced sustainability & renewable energy policies. Arcadian can produce a comprehensive renewable energy statement report that provides an overview to low and zero carbon technologies including biomass boilers, solar photo voltaics, solar hot water & heat pumps. Part G Water Efficiency Calculations: Under Part G of the Building Regulations all new homes are required to comply with water consumption efficiency targets. We can provide you with completed water usage calculations.
